Generics in general are the best way to go. This battery performs similar to the stock battery from Canon. I have no complaints and would suggest everyone buy the (potentially crappy battery in the long-term), because buying several of these is still less than the proprietary battery. Battery is still going strong after about 4 months and frequent use on our 2 week vacation.

I ordered two of these batteries for a wedding shoot I had. I was the videographer, so I was using the video features on a T2i and T3i primarily. These batteries work great.The only thing to keep in mind is that these will not hold as long of a charge as the official Canon batteries. These batteries lasted about 70% as long as my original Canon battery, so keep that in mind if you are shooting a lot of video, as you will probably need quite a few of these to continue to shoot throughout the day.But being they are quite a bit less expensive than buying one directly from Canon, it's still a great buy.

Excellent product, works like a charm. Can't tell the difference between this and others that cost $50. I was really surprised how well this has worked the last 4 months, definitely not paying those crazy high prices ever again.

This battery is perfect. I received it from the seller yesterday and immediately put it on the charger. After it finished I tossed it in my Canon Rebel T3i and it worked perfectly. I couldn't be happier with it. In fact, I'm sure I'll buy another since the price is so good.

I have been using this battery for about a month and it works great. I have not been able to compare it to the one that cam with the camera. But for the price vs the local stores it's a great deal. I would recommend this friends and family.

This was a great buy and much cheaper than buying one from Canon or a local retailer. The battery lasts much longer than I need. I basically use it as a backup battery in case that I forget to charge my primary battery.

The battery came on time and looked fine, however it won't seem to charge in the battery charger that came with my Rebel T3i. If anyone knows why or has a solution, please let me know because otherwise this battery was a useless purchase. If it would charge and work it would be a 5 star rating.

it was recieved a bit late but its good as an original battery.working capacity is almost same as original one
